I was also a voting member on the Fife Integrated Joint board. I am currently a non-executive director with NHS Tayside. I have previous experience as vice chair of a National charity centered on addiction.
I will support the principles and visions of the East Fife Supporters Society and it’s members.

Isla Couser – Board member and East Fife FC Board Representative
I attended my first East Fife game when I was 5, although it wasn’t until around the age of 7 that I started becoming a regular and as they say…. the rest is history!
Going to the football has become my weekly routine, and it really does give me something to look forward to at the end of another long week! It’s not just about the game, it’s the people I’ve met along the way, the memories made (good & bad) and the sense of belonging the club has given me.
My current job as a Deputy Head Teacher in a local primary school is something I believe that would help me immensely in this type of role. I started in the school as a Class Teacher in August 2015 and have developed many positive relationships within the community. I have overseen trips to Bayview with groups of pupils in the past, including planning and implementing the school’s initiatives at the end of last season, and it gives me great pride when I see pupils returning or ex pupils who now sit in front of me every week which all stemmed from me organising a school trip to a game.
The values of the EFSS align with my own and I will demonstrate these wholeheartedly in my role. I am delighted and honoured to be the society’s representative on the board and I would like to thank the EFSS board for their support, trust and belief in me to fulfill this role and keep our club moving forward.
If there is anything I can help with or should you wish to share an idea for me to take to the board, please do not hesitate to catch up with me at a game, even if it’s just to say hello.

Alan Cairns – Board Member, Social Media and Engagement Officer
Raised across the road from Old Bayview, and son of Rab, a former player in a successful era for the club, I’ve supported East Fife for as long as I can remember.
After school at Kirkland, then university at St Andrews, I moved to England to pursue a career in teaching. With over 20 years experience, and 5 as Headteacher, I’ve guided a small independent school in London from a precarious position to stability and consistent growth.
I have found a great deal of success in reputation building, improving social media communication and finding innovative ways to engage new customers, whilst running a business successfully on a tight budget.
I’ve been working with the Supporters Society on a voluntary basis since the summer, proposing and then formulating the fan survey, then presenting the findings to directors of the club. I’ve also managed to make useful connections with figures in the football community whom I think can help move the club forward.
I’d be delighted to continue to help the society and the club in any way I can.

Scott Neil – Board Member
Scott has spent his adult life in financial services, and has spent the last 35 years with the HSBC Group, currently involved in Personal Banking and Financial Education with schools, youth groups and international companies.
His work has taken him from his original home in Markinch to further afield, however he has remained an East Fife supporter for many years.
He sees community ownership and forging strong links with the community as the future of the club.
